An Elegant Pergola

To organize the layout of the yard, installing first a pergola in wood made to measure: it defines the living space and brings style to any space.

The ½ herringbone frame, inspired by the shape of a small house, is both design and light: it delimits the volume while being completely open.

The pergola undergoing almost no physical constraints, we can use fairly thin sections of wood, for an elegant result.

The most: the pretty shadows of the structure on the walls of the courtyard. We complete the set of lines created by the structure of the pergola by placing ½ rafters and battens on the back wall which symbolize the reflections of the frame.

Decoration In Black And Wood

To create a base in this court chic and contemporary, it covers the walls in concrete a dark gray facade paint and matte.

The matte color highlights the roughness of the concrete which gains in nobility and takes on the appearance of the stone.

On the ground, we play on contrasts: we contrast the deep black of the walls with the warmth of a Douglas fir floor. Its different honey tones and knots provide just the right amount of rusticity to create an atmosphere that is as designed as it is welcoming!

On the living room side, there is a large carpet on the floor in a cozy spirit. We choose it from the range of gray, black and white, and preferably geometric patterns, in harmony with the design of the pergola.

In this very structured courtyard, we introduce nature by mastering it! The plants are in pots and arranged to create a balanced whole.
