I’ve now bought 5 of these! You can use them as “convertible” planters or cashepots to hold a plant already planted in another pot. You can also take out the copper pot and replace it with your own decorative pot and plant. This way you can change out plants that grow with the seasons. I have all of mine hanging from my front porch and change out portulaca in the spring and summer with Christmas cactus in the fall and poinsettia around the holidays. These hanging baskets give me tremendous flexibility here in Tallahassee, FL with the plants I can display according to the seasons that they grow and bloom in.

Perfect!! It’s beautiful and so well made. I am not hanging it. I’m using it to cover an eyesore in my yard. I turned the black iron holder upside down and the copper planter fit in perfectly, so it works both ways!!! I would definitely buy it again!
